Early Career Teachers (ECTs) – Primary Supply Opportunities | September 2026
Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to build your confidence and classroom experience from September 2026?
Would you like the flexibility to work in a variety of primary schools while gaining experience across different year groups before securing a permanent role?
Teaching Personnel is looking to register enthusiastic and motivated ECTs for day-to-day, short-term and mid-term supply opportunities across primary schools from September 2026.
Supply teaching is an excellent way to begin your teaching career. You'll have the opportunity to experience a range of school settings, work with different age groups across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, and develop your classroom practice while building relationships with local schools. Many of our supply placements lead to longer-term and permanent teaching opportunities.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold (or be due to receive) a UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS.
- Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
- Be adaptable, enthusiastic and confident teaching across a range of primary year groups.
- Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Be committed to creating engaging and inclusive learning environments.
- Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be reliable, professional and passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
