Supply teaching is an excellent way to begin your teaching career. You'll have the opportunity to experience a range of school settings, work with different age groups across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, and develop your classroom practice while building relationships with local schools. Many of our supply placements lead to longer-term and permanent teaching opportunities.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
  • Be adaptable, enthusiastic and confident teaching across a range of primary year groups.
  • Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Be committed to creating engaging and inclusive learning environments.
  • Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Be reliable, professional and passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their best.

Why choose Teaching Personnel?

  • Flexible day-to-day work to fit around your availability.
  • Short and mid-term placements in a variety of local primary schools.
  • Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to broaden your teaching portfolio.
  • Opportunities to identify schools that are the right fit for you before committing to a permanent role.
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated Primary Consultant.
  • Competitive daily rates, with weekly pay.

Whether you're looking to gain experience while completing your ECT induction, explore different school environments, or find your ideal long-term placement, we'd love to hear from you.
