No formal qualifications are required beyond GCSE Maths and English – we provide all the training you need to get started, including FREE Behaviour Training and THRIVE training, with the option to complete Team Teach at a discounted rate.
This role is perfect for anyone with transferable skills – whether you’ve worked in childcare, care/support work, coaching, hospitality, retail, or any role involving people, communication, and problem-solving. If you’re patient, positive, and enjoy helping others succeed, you’ll thrive in this environment!
What does a Teaching Assistant do?
- Supporting pupils in the classroom (1:1 or in small groups)
- Helping children stay engaged and on task
- Assisting the teacher with daily activities and lesson prep
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs (ALN/SEN)
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Providing a safe, nurturing environment for learning
What we’re looking for:
- GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) ✔️
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ideally a driver (due to working across different schools)
- Flexibility to take both pre-booked work and morning calls

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
