Job Title: Secondary Class Room Manager
Location: Carmarthenshire
Pay: £100–£110 per day

About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in Secondary Schools across Carmarthenshire. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals considering a career in education to gain valuable classroom experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with the work set.
Key Responsibilities

Supervising whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4

Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions
-
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
-
Supporting pupils with their learning and maintaining a positive learning environment

Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day
Essential Requirements
-
Ability to drive and access to a vehicle (due to rural school locations across Carmarthenshire)
-
Confidence managing groups of secondary-aged pupils
-
Strong communication and organisational skills
-
A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
Desirable
-
Welsh language skills (spoken Welsh is highly desirable)
-
Experience working with young people (education, youth work, coaching, etc.)

An aspiration to train as a teacher or work in education long-term
