Seeking Experienced Classroom Support Professionals
Teaching Personnel is recruiting skilled Classroom Assistants to support specialist education provisions throughout Devizes.
We work alongside a number of SEND and SEMH settings that regularly require dependable supply staff to cover absences, fluctuating pupil needs and additional support requirements.
This role offers flexibility and variety while allowing you to utilise your existing experience within specialist education environments.
About the Position
As a Classroom Assistant, you will provide essential support to teaching teams and pupils across a range of specialist provisions.
- Assisting learners with educational activities
- Supporting positive behaviour approaches
- Helping pupils remain focused and engaged
- Encouraging communication and social development
- Supporting personalised learning programmes
- Working with pupils individually and in small groups
- Assisting with transitions throughout the school day
- Promoting a safe and nurturing environment

Applicants should possess previous experience supporting children or young people within:
- Special schools
- Alternative provisions
- SEMH environments
- Residential care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
