Job Title: Class Teacher
Location: Near Wells
Salary: M1–M6 (Paid to Scale)
Contract Type: Part-Time

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school located just outside of Wells. This is a part-time role, ideal for a teacher who is committed to making a meaningful impact on pupils’ early learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality engaging lessons
  • Support pupils across all areas of learning, ensuring strong foundations in early education
  • Work collaboratively with classroom assistants to provide targeted support, particularly for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Liaise effectively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and wider staff to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and valued

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong understanding of supporting pupils with SEN
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with support staff
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to raising standards

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
