Chemistry Teacher (QTS Required) - Full-Time
Clitheroe, Lancashire
Start Date: January 2027
Salary: MPS/UPS dependent on experience
Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-respected mainstream secondary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire, who are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Chemistry to join their Science department on a full-time basis from January 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Chemistry specialist who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.
The Role:
- Full-time Chemistry Teacher position
- Starting January 2027
- Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons
- Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
- Contributing positively to a thriving Science department
- Upholding high standards of behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching Chemistry within a UK secondary school setting
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Is committed to raising attainment and inspiring learners
- Has a proactive, positive and professional approach to teaching
- Possesses strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
