The Role
The school is seeking a passionate and adaptable Business Studies Teacher to join its dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to deliver engaging and accessible Business Studies lessons tailored to students with diverse learning needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, supporting students to develop practical business knowledge, and fostering key life skills such as communication, problem-solving, and financial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated Business Studies lessons suited to SEND learners

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff

  • Support students’ personal development alongside academic achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable but not essential for the right candidate)

  • Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level

  • A strong understanding of SEND, or a willingness to develop in this area

  • Patience, resilience, and a creative approach to teaching

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
