The Role
The school is seeking a passionate and adaptable Business Studies Teacher to join its dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to deliver engaging and accessible Business Studies lessons tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, supporting students to develop practical business knowledge, and fostering key life skills such as communication, problem-solving, and financial awareness.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver differentiated Business Studies lessons suited to SEND learners

Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff

Support students’ personal development alongside academic achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable but not essential for the right candidate)

Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level
-
A strong understanding of SEND, or a willingness to develop in this area

Patience, resilience, and a creative approach to teaching

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
