Location: Northampton

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a secondary school in Northampton to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher for a part-time position, starting as soon as possible.

The Role

As a Business Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire students and support strong academic progress. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about business education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons in line with the curriculum

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Work collaboratively with the department and wider school team

  • Support students with exam preparation and coursework

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level (KS3/KS4, KS5 desirable)

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • Passionate, motivated, and committed to student success

  • Ability to engage and inspire learners of all abilities
