Are you passionate about bringing the world of living organisms to life? A forward‑thinking school in Lancaster is searching for an enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join their team immediately and inspire students through to the end of the academic year.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take the lead in creating lessons that spark curiosity—whether you’re exploring ecosystems, dissecting the inner workings of the human body, or investigating genetics. Your role will include:
- Delivering engaging Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Encouraging students to think critically and develop strong scientific skills
- Supporting learners of all abilities with clear, structured teaching
- Contributing to practical science work and ensuring a safe lab environment
- Tracking progress and helping students achieve their potential
What We’re Looking For
- QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge and a love for all things Biology
- A positive classroom presence and the ability to inspire confidence
- Great organisational skills and the adaptability to settle in quickly
- A genuine desire to make a meaningful impact

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
