Teaching Personnel are currently searching for a teaching assistant to become a role model and behaviour mentor to secondary school students starting in January.

We at Teaching Personnel offer a personalised tutoring service to help schools increase pupil attainment. We call these our intervention programmes and each of these has been designed to help pupils reach their full potential. As a behaviour mentor, your role will be helping challenging students overcome their behavioural issues by giving them someone to look up to. 

This behaviour teaching assistants role is set to start in January 2020 for the remainder of the academic year. The school are looking to have the support in place ASAP and want to appoint no later than December 23rd 

Behaviour Mentor responsibilities include: 

• Establish productive working relationships with pupils, encouraging and motivating them

• Raising achievement by providing a specialist service that assists schools in meeting their targets and obligations

• Being a friend to students with behavioural issues, giving them someone to confide in and trust

• To challenge and motivate pupils, promoting and reinforcing self esteem alongside providing levels of individual pastoral support

-               Degree Educated, Construction, Ex-Army, Police Cadets, Team Teach and Youth workers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
