Can You Be the Difference? Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant needed
Teaching Personnel are recruiting resilient and confident Behaviour Support TA's to support pupils within a specialist alternative provision in Accrington. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
The role:
• Supporting students with challenging behaviour on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Building positive relationships and acting as a positive role model
• Encouraging engagement in learning and promoting positive behaviour
• Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and emotional regulation skills
• Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
We are looking for people who:
• Have experience working with young people with behavioural needs
• Remain calm under pressure and can set clear boundaries
• Are resilient, proactive and consistent in their approach
• Want to make a genuine difference to vulnerable learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
