  • Support teachers in delivering a tailored curriculum, adapting materials and approaches to meet individual needs.

  • Encourage emotional regulation and use positive strategies to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and confidently.

  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to create and implement personalised support plans.

  • Act as a positive role model, promoting resilience, respect, and consistency every day.

  • Or simply someone who has life experience, patience, and empathy and wants to make a difference.

No formal experience? No problem as your attitude, commitment, and willingness to learn are what matter most.

What You’ll Need

  • A genuine passion for supporting young people’s wellbeing and education.

  • Resilience, empathy, and strong communication skills.

  • A calm, consistent approach to behaviour management.

  • A current DBS (or willingness to obtain one before starting).

  • Flexible working patterns (choose between 3–5 days per week).

  • Weekly pay via PAYE, no umbrella deductions.

  • Access to accredited CPD, including Team Teach and SEN training.

  • £50 referral bonus for each person you refer who completes 5 working days.
