Behaviour Support Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based School which is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant for the new academic year. 

The school caters specifically for KS3 / 4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, ADHD, Autism and challenging behaviours. 

The school is smaller than average and currently has approximately 55 pupils on roll. 

 

The candidate applying for this role will ideally come from a background working in education, you must also have experience working specifically with pupils who can be challenging in their behaviours. The candidate must be available full time, from September 2020 until at least December 2020, although, this role is likely to become permanent for the right candidate. 

 

The school hours are 8.45am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday and candidates will be expected to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who are often very challenging in their behaviours. 

 

The pay for this role will be between GBP65 - 75 per day dependent on experience and you must be available to interview over the next two weeks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
