A 3 form entry Primary school located in thurrock are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to take on a full-time role as a behaviour mentor working 1:1 with a pupil in year 3.
This position is term time only Monday to Friday 08:30 – 15:30. The school is looking for a teaching assistant who wants to progress and grow with the school.
‘The right candidate will be working closely in a team around the child to ensure the best possible opportunities are given. They will be supporting the child academically throughout all core subjects.
Ideal Candidates will have:
- The ability to build good relationships with pupils, colleagues as well as parents and carers.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, but also as an individual
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Patience and a good sense of humour
- Childcare Qualifications and/or experience in the care/ education industry.
- Experience working 1:1 with SEN or Challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
