Our friendly, thriving partner school need additional support! We are actively recruiting for Behavior Buddies, work with pupils who are in KS2. The school is a mainstream primary school that caters for pupils with additional needs/SEND such as Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, ADD and SEMH (formerly known as EBD).

Your main role will be supporting the students on a 1:1 basis as a behaviour buddy to support them within mainstream classes creating equal learning opportunities.

We currently have multiple staff members working at this school and others that are similar, some of which had previous experience in schools and others did not. Main duties will include:

  • Working 1:1
  • Working with small groups of children, inside and outside of the classroom
  • Supporting both pupils and the teacher as and when required i.e. helping prepare resources
  • Managing behaviour confidently at all times
  • Promoting well-being
  • Engaging pupils in their own learning and development
  • Reporting to the Class Teacher and SLT, where required

You will NEED to be available to work between 8.15am and 16:00pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
