Behaviour Support Assistants – Wigan Schools

We’re seeking Behaviour Support Assistants to work across a range of Good and Outstanding schools in the Wigan area. You’ll play a key role in supporting students who may display challenging behaviour, helping them to stay engaged and succeed in the classroom.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with children or young people, especially in challenging settings (education, youth work, care, etc.)

Be calm, empathetic, and able to de-escalate situations effectively

Work well as part of a team and take initiative when needed

Be committed to building positive relationships and promoting good behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
