Teaching Personnel is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with a fantastic secondary school in the Tameside area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a challenging but rewarding environment and wants to help students overcome barriers to learning.

About the Role:

• Start Date: January 2024
• Contract: Full-time
• Pay Rate: £85–£110 per day (dependent on experience)
• Provide tailored support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them engage positively in lessons.
• Build trusting relationships with students and offer guidance to help them manage their behaviour effectively.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the school’s pastoral team to implement strategies for improved behaviour.
• Help create an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to reviews of behaviour plans and interventions.

• A calm, patient, and understanding approach to dealing with challenging situations.
