- Encourage independence, confidence and positive decision-making
- Support behaviour and intervention plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and external agencies
- Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records
- Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Who We're Looking For

You will be:
✅ Calm, resilient and able to remain professional under pressure
✅ Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
✅ A confident communicator who can build meaningful relationships
✅ Flexible, proactive and willing to work as part of a wider team
✅ Committed to helping pupils achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally
Essential Experience
- Experience working within a PRU, PRS, Alternative Provision, SEMH or SEN setting
- Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural, emotional or additional learning needs
- Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term position
Desirable Experience
- Team Teach training (or willingness to undertake training)
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice
- Knowledge of restorative approaches
- Experience using positive behaviour management strategies
