Primary Behaviour Support Assistant

Carmarthen
8:30am - 3:30pm, Term Time Only
£14.25 per hour
Start: September 2026

Do you enjoy helping children build confidence, overcome challenges, and succeed in school?

We're looking for caring and enthusiastic Behaviour Support Assistants to support primary-aged pupils with SEMH, ALN, Autism, and behavioural needs within a nurturing and supportive school environment.

The Role

You'll work closely with pupils, teachers, and support staff to:

✅ Support learning in the classroom
✅ Deliver 1:1 and small group support
✅ Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
✅ Support play, outdoor learning, and enrichment activities
✅ Build children's confidence, communication, and social skills
✅ Help create a safe, positive learning environment

What We're Looking For

✅ A positive and proactive attitude
✅ Passion for supporting children with additional needs
✅ Strong safeguarding awareness

Essential

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
EWC Registration (or willingness to obtain)
