We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to join a welcoming junior school in Basingstoke, starting as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or someone with a strong background in supporting children with behavioural needs. The role is initially temporary, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right educator.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Strong and confident in behaviour management
- Patient, calm and consistent when supporting children
- Resilient and able to manage challenging situations professionally

- Passionate about supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development
- Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- A team player who can work effectively alongside teachers and school staff

- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Based within a junior school in Basingstoke

- £95 per day
- Temporary position with potential for a permanent role

Vetting requirements:
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS check on the Update Service is required for this position. Candidates who already hold a suitable Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service would be ideal.
