Learning Support Assistant – Behaviour Specialist School (Basingstoke)
Are you an outgoing and confident individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude? Do you have experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
A Behaviour Specialist School in Basingstoke is seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible. You will initially work through Teaching Personnel for a short period before transitioning onto a direct contract with the school.
About the Role:
- Supporting pupils who struggle to engage in education.
- Building professional relationships and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Working within a school that provides a fresh start for students, with a focus on reintegrating them into mainstream education.
What We’re Looking For:
A confident and outgoing personality.
A positive attitude and willingness to support pupils with challenging behaviour.
Experience in mental health, support work, or education is desirable.
Background in working with young people or adults with behavioural difficulties.
Salary & Benefits:
£13.80 per hour
Based in Basingstoke
Full-time position with an immediate start pending employment checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
