SEN Teaching Assistant Role

 

Are you looking to work with children with Special Educational Needs?

Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants to support children with SEN in our fantastic Primary schools located in the Harrow area.

This role involves working on a 1 to 1 basis with a child with SEN who could be aged from 4-11 years old. There is a variety of needs in mainstream schools, but you would be informed about the severity of the child’s needs before you went into the school.

Your job as an SEN Teaching Assistant would be to support the child you are placed with to achieve their educational potential.

The children need an assistant who is committed and passionate to their personal learning plan and the school needs an individual who will fit their staff team and build positive relationships with everyone around them.

  • School based working hours – 8:30am to 15:30pm
  • The opportunity to commit to a permanent position if one is made available

What we look for:

  • Past relevant experience
  • CACHE Level 2 or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN
  • Overseas criminal clearance (if necessary)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
