A vibrant Secondary school in Bridlington has begun the search for an experienced Youth Worker to join the team as a Behaviour Mentor.

Do you have a calm, caring and professional approach to managing challenging situations? Are you looking for exciting Behaviour Mentor role?

In this Behaviour Mentor role you will have the responsibility of maintaining the confidentiality of the SEMH students in order to create a sensitive learning environment where privacy is respected. You will have the opportunity to mentor a specific student on a 1:1 or small-group basis, guiding them through their day as they overcome their personal barriers to learning. Day-to-day, you will be building strong relationships between student's home and school life to create a consistent learning environment. To track student progression accurately it is important that you feed information on their lesson engagement back to the teachers.
