The Role

As our Behaviour Buddy, you will:

• Work 1:1 and in small groups with children who need support with behaviour, self-regulation, and social skills.

• Build positive, trusting relationships to help pupils engage successfully in learning.

• Support class teachers and pastoral staff in delivering behaviour plans and targeted interventions.

• Encourage independence, resilience, and confidence in the children you work with.

• Model and promote positive behaviour throughout the school day.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children, ideally in a school or SEND setting.

• Is patient, empathetic, and able to stay calm under pressure.

• Understands the importance of inclusive practice.

• Communicates well with children, staff, and families.

• Is proactive, reliable, and passionate about supporting young learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
