ASD Tutor – Reading
£20–£30 per hour | Flexible opportunities
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated ASD Tutor to support children and young people across Reading.
This role involves working with students with Autism (ASC) and other learning needs, including ADHD and Dyslexia, delivering personalised, engaging tuition that supports both academic progress and confidence.
The Role

Assess students’ individual needs, strengths, and learning styles

Plan and deliver a tailored scheme of work

Provide high-quality tuition in English and Maths
-
Adapt teaching strategies to support students with Autism and additional learning needs
-
Work with learners from EYFS to Post-16 (experience in any age range is welcome)

Deliver sessions in the student’s home, local centre, or school
Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experience

Proven experience supporting students with Autism and additional learning needs

Strong knowledge of English and/or Maths
-
Calm, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
-
Ability to work independently and manage planning and delivery effectively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
