Job Title: Art Teacher (QTS)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Contract Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: £175+ per day (dependent on experience - paid to scale)
Start Date: September 2026
Role Overview:
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a creative and passionate Art Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Art lessons, encouraging creativity and self-expression, and supporting students to achieve positive educational outcomes. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs with a passion for making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons.
- Adapt learning to meet individual student needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS.
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passionate about supporting young people.
- Flexible, resilient and committed to student success.

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Hold QTS.
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
