Job Title: Art Teacher

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £160 - £220 Per day

Job Duties:

The Art Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons to students, incorporating a variety of artistic techniques and mediums. They will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs. The Art Teacher will also contribute to the development of the art curriculum, participate in school events and exhibitions, and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Enhanced Child DBS on the update service, BA Honours Degree in Art or related field. Experience in delivering food technology is desirable.

Education:

A BA Honours Degree in Art or a similar field is required, along with a PGCE and/or QTS.

Experience:

Prior experience teaching art to students of varying ages and abilities is essential. Experience in delivering food technology is advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, creativity, dedication, organisation, enthusiasm, patience, and the ability to follow school rules and policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with additional qualifications in education or art-related subjects will be preferred.

Working Conditions:

The Art Teacher will work in a school environment, collaborating with colleagues and supporting students' artistic development. They may be required to attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions as needed.
