About the Role

As an Art Teacher, you’ll nurture students’ artistic skills, confidence, and appreciation for visual arts. You’ll design engaging lessons across a range of mediums — from drawing and painting to digital design and sculpture — encouraging students to explore, experiment, and express themselves.

Your role will include:

• Delivering high-quality art lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment.

• Encouraging students to develop their own artistic voice.

• Organising exhibitions, art clubs, and creative workshops.

• Collaborating with colleagues to promote the arts across the school.

About You

You are:

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching Art at KS3–KS5.

• Passionate about creativity, innovation, and student engagement.

• Skilled in a variety of artistic techniques and mediums.

• Organised, flexible, and committed to inclusive education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
