Art Teacher – Secondary School, Wells

Start Date: September

Are you a creative, inspiring and dedicated Art Teacher looking for your next opportunity from September? We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Art to join our welcoming secondary school in Wells.

The Role

As an Art Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver inspiring and engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where appropriate)

  • Encourage students to explore creativity, techniques and artistic expression

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that support a range of abilities

  • Develop students’ practical skills, critical thinking and appreciation of art

  • Contribute to the wider creative life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it

  • Has a strong knowledge and passion for Art and Design

  • Can inspire students through creative and engaging teaching

  • Is committed to helping every student achieve their potential

  • Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive team
