Art Teacher – Dorchester

Full-Time | Immediate Start

We’re searching for an enthusiastic Art Teacher who can inspire students to experiment boldly, think creatively, and develop real confidence in their artistic abilities. This is a fantastic full‑time opportunity for someone eager to make an immediate impact and help shape a thriving, imaginative learning environment.

In this role, you’ll deliver engaging and dynamic Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, encouraging students to explore a wide range of materials, techniques, and creative approaches. You’ll guide learners of all abilities as they refine their skills, express themselves, and grow as emerging young artists.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent)
  • Strong classroom management and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver exciting, skills‑driven lessons
  • Confident subject knowledge and a passion for high‑quality teaching
  • Great communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire
  • A flexible, reflective mindset that supports a broad range of creative needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
