Art Teacher – KS3 & KS4 (Start ASAP)
A forward-thinking mainstream secondary school in Christchurch is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who believes that creativity is central to student development and who enjoys inspiring young people through visual expression.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to explore a range of media, techniques and artistic styles. The department is supportive and values fresh ideas, individuality and a willingness to contribute to the wider creative life of the school.
This role would suit an Art specialist who is confident in the classroom, enthusiastic about their subject and committed to helping students build both technical skills and creative confidence. Whether experienced or early in their teaching career, the school is keen to welcome someone who brings energy, commitment and a genuine love of Art education.
The school is looking for someone who:

Can teach Art across KS3 and KS4

Plans creative, inclusive and engaging lessons

Has strong classroom management and communication skills

Is keen to contribute to a positive and collaborative school culture

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
