Are you a creative and motivated teacher of Art?
Do you have recent experience teaching Art and Design in UK based secondary schools?
One of our amazing partner secondary schools based in Coventry, CV2, is seeking to employ a creative and reliable Art and Design teacher on a full time basis.
Details of role:
Location- Coventry, CV2
Hours- Full time, term-time only
Rate of pay- To Scale MPS/UPS
Ideal person specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Bachelors degree in an Art based subject
Genuine passion for Art and Design
Recent proven track record teaching Art and Design in a UK based secondary school
Strong behaviour management skills
Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs & can demonstrate an understanding of how to adapt lessons to suit individual needs
Roles & Responsibilities:
To plan and deliver engaging Art lessons that inspire and encourage children to express themselves freely
To manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and safe learning environment
To demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and support all members of the class
To ensure children with special educational needs feel included
Provide feedback to support children with their learning and development
Work in collaboration with other teachers within the department to enhance the academic outcomes of the children
Ensure safeguarding is your priority at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
