Sporadic Teacher Cover – SEN & Mainstream Provisions
Location: West Lancashire (Skelmersdale & Ormskirk)
Contract Type: Flexible / Ad Hoc Supply
We are currently recruiting Teachers to provide sporadic cover across a range of SEN and mainstream school provisions in the West Lancashire area, specifically Skelmersdale and Ormskirk. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexibility, whether alongside other commitments or as a gradual return to classroom teaching.
The majority of cover will be within GLD classes, where class sizes are smaller and additional support is in place.
The Role:

Delivering pre-planned lessons in both SEN and mainstream settings

Working within smaller class environments, often alongside support staff
-
Maintaining a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
-
Adapting teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
-
Experience in SEN is not essential – training and support will be provided
-
A calm, flexible, and inclusive teaching approach

Confidence managing smaller classes with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
