Teaching personnel are currently looking for tutors to work with pupils in the 21/22 academic year on a 1:1 and small group basis across Northamptonshire and neighbouring counties.

The role;

Delivering targeted intervention to primary and secondary pupils in core subjects for a set number of weeks.  You will be required to;

-          Plan and deliver effective and inspiring sessions (normally an hour long)

-          Complete baseline assessments using our online tool to establish learning gaps

-          Complete weekly feedback

-          Provide a nurturing and safe environment for pupils to exceed in their learning

-          Liaise with the school/class teacher on weekly progress and areas of improvement

What we need from you;

-          A teaching qualification; either FE/ QTS/PTLLS or over 6 months school experience delivering intervention (references required)/a graduate in maths/English/science with experience of mentoring and working with young learners

-          An inspiring and motivating attitude

-          Pro-activeness and capable of using IT software to deliver online sessions if required and complete online pro-forma/assessments

-          A flexible dairy and compassionate approach to vulnerable learners

-          Full right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
