A-Level Science Teacher – Rotherham
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed A-Level Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher to join a school where high-quality teaching, strong relationships and academic achievement are highly valued.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching Science at A-Level and will be confident delivering engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Teach A-Level Science to students across Post-16.
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and differentiated lessons.
- Prepare students effectively for examinations and assessments.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Develop students' subject knowledge, confidence and independent learning skills.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations.
- Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider teaching team.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have proven experience teaching Science at A-Level.
- Have a strong subject knowledge and passion for Science.
- Be confident preparing students for A-Level examinations.
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be able to differentiate effectively to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Build positive and professional relationships with students and colleagues.
- Be reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
- Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
