An Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Keynsham, Bristol, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced 2nd in Science to join their dynamic and dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to the continued success and development of the Science Department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Science in leading and managing the Science Department.
- Assist in the development and implementation of an inspiring and engaging Science curriculum.
- Ensure high standards of teaching and learning within the department.
- Mentor and support other Science teachers to foster professional growth.
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to providing high-quality education and achieving outstanding student outcomes.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school activities, including extracurricular programs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Science or a related field.
- A proven track record of successful teaching experience in secondary education.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience in curriculum development and innovative teaching practices is desirable.
