Make a Real Difference — Become a Tutor with TP Tutors

Do you love seeing students finally “get it”? That moment when their understanding clicks and their confidence grows? If you’re looking for a flexible role where you can focus on one learner at a time — without the pressures of a full classroom — TP Tutors could be the perfect fit.

We’re currently welcoming applications from enthusiastic and dedicated tutors to provide 1:1 Maths, English, or Science tuition (KS1–KS4) to primary and secondary students in your local area. Immediate start opportunities are available.

Whether you’re a qualified teacher, ECT, teaching assistant, cover supervisor, graduate, or experienced tutor, we encourage you to apply. If you have experience supporting young people and a passion for helping them succeed, we want to hear from you.

Why 1:1 Tutoring?

One-to-one tuition allows you to:

✔ Tailor every lesson to suit an individual student’s needs
✔ Help close learning gaps and strengthen core skills
✔ Boost confidence and encourage independent learning
✔ Work in calm settings such as homes, libraries, or community spaces
✔ Track progress clearly with achievable goals
✔ Build positive, meaningful relationships

With focused support, you can make a genuine impact — not just academically, but personally too.

Who Can Apply?

We’re looking for individuals who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people (in any setting)

  • Feel confident supporting Maths, English, or Science up to KS4

  • Can adapt their approach to suit different abilities and learning styles

  • Communicate clearly and manage behaviour effectively

  • Are reliable, patient, and professional

  • Take safeguarding responsibilities seriously

If you’re passionate about education and want flexibility while continuing to make a difference, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply — we’ll guide you through it)

  • Right to work in the UK

  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people

What We Offer

£25–£30 per hour (PAYE — no umbrella fees)
Flexible working hours to suit your schedule
Local placements to reduce travel
Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
Free CPD and professional development
Opportunities across various ages, subjects, and settings

This is an excellent opportunity for educators looking for better work-life balance while continuing to positively shape young lives.
