Job description

Inspire Progress Through Tutoring – SEN Roles in Rochester

TP Tutors is looking for motivated and compassionate tutors in Rochester to provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs.

This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking flexible work while making a genuine difference in education.

Location: Rochester and nearby areas
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Position: SEN Tutor

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver personalised Maths and/or English sessions
  • Work with students who have a range of additional needs, including autism and SEMH
  • Use adaptive teaching approaches to support engagement and progress
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Encourage both academic improvement and personal confidence

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting SEN/SEND learners
  • Ability to deliver structured and effective lessons
  • Based in Rochester or able to travel locally
  • Patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
