Use Your Teaching Expertise to Transform Learners' Lives

Are you a Qualified Teacher (QTS) looking for a flexible role where you can make a meaningful difference outside the traditional classroom? TP Tutors is seeking dedicated teachers to provide high-quality, one-to-one tuition across Brighton and the surrounding areas.

Working with learners in both mainstream and SEN settings, you'll support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND requirements. By delivering personalised tuition, you'll help learners rebuild confidence, re-engage with education and achieve their individual goals.

Location: Brighton and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, learners' homes and community venues

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to each learner's needs
  • Plan and adapt lessons using your classroom experience
  • Support learners to improve academically while building confidence and independence
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools and other professionals to ensure positive outcomes

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • Experience teaching within mainstream education, with experience supporting learners with SEN/SEND highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • A sound understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Ability to travel throughout Brighton and surrounding areas
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
