We are seeking a dedicated and caring Year 3 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school. This rewarding role involves providing individual support to a pupil in Year 3, helping them access learning, build confidence, and thrive both academically and socially.

Competitive Salary: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour

The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a Year 3 pupil throughout the school day.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies.
- Support the child's academic progress across the curriculum.
- Assist with social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Adapt learning activities to meet the pupil's individual needs.
- Foster positive relationships and encourage independence.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents where required.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with primary-aged children.
- Has experience supporting pupils with additional needs (desirable).
- Is patient, nurturing, and resilient.
- Can build positive and trusting relationships with children.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Is flexible, proactive, and able to use their initiative.
- Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
