1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Redruth | Full-Time | September Start
£14.25 per hour | 5 Days per Week | Long-Term Opportunity

Teaching Personnel are working closely with several welcoming and supportive primary schools on the outskirts of Redruth l who are seeking dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant's to support pupils with additional needs from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and providing consistent support to help a child thrive both academically and emotionally.
These roles are expected to continue throughout the term, with the possibility of being extended beyond this for the right candidate.
About the Role
You will work closely with one pupil throughout the school day, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and feel supported within the classroom environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Supporting engagement in lessons and daily activities
- Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
- Assisting with routines, transitions and emotional regulation
- Working collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff
- Creating a calm, positive and nurturing environment
The schools are looking for someone who can become a consistent and trusted adult in the child's day-to-day school experience.
