Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Newquay area from September.

About the Role
You will be supporting pupils with additional needs, which may include:
- Autism (ASC)
- Speech and language difficulties
- SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)
- Communication and interaction needs
- Learning difficulties
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Helping pupils access classroom learning
- Working closely with teachers and SENCOs
- Creating a calm, nurturing and structured environment

What You'll Need
- Experience working with children or young people
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Enhanced Childworkforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong references covering recent employment
