Job Advert: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) – Poole (BH15) – September Start

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and passionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming and nurturing infant schools in Poole (BH15) from September.

This is a full-time position, ideal for a committed TA who is looking to make a meaningful difference in a child’s educational journey by providing tailored, one-to-one support.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies
  • Supporting the child’s academic, social, and emotional development
  • Creating a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment
  • Monitoring and recording progress, adapting approaches where necessary

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within an SEN setting
  • Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Be passionate about supporting children with additional needs
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be committed to full-time work from September

Pay:

  • Daily rate of £92.63 based on a 6.5-hour working day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
