Primary 1:1 Tutor – Chester (CH4)

Location: Chester, CH4
Position: Primary 1:1 Tutor
Hours: Part-time, weekdays during school hours
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary 1:1 Tutor to provide individualised support to primary-aged pupils in the Chester (CH4) area.

The Role

You will:

  • Deliver engaging, tailored 1:1 tuition to primary-aged pupils.
  • Plan lessons that meet each learner's individual needs and learning goals.
  • Support pupils to build confidence and make progress in core subjects, including English and Maths.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback where required.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working with primary-aged children in a teaching, tutoring, or support role.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, particularly English and Maths.
  • A teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN is an advantage.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
