East Midlands SEN Branch

The East Midlands SEN Branch covers the entirety of the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire region, including the city centres. We work with a broad range of schools in Alfreton, Ashbourne, Basford, Belper, Burton-On-Trent, Chesterfield, Derby, Ilkeston, Leicester, Lincoln, Mansfield, Matlock, Newark, Nottingham, Ripley, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Swadlincote, Wilmslow and Worksop that cater for a wide spectrum of SEN needs, including complex PMLD/SLD, ASC and SEMH which means we can offer you a vast variety of roles.

We also provide a large number of tutors to work with Looked After Children across the counties on a 1:1 basis and need help to re-engage some of the hardest to reach young people in the region. We are recruiting teaching assistants, cover supervisors and learning support staff to aid daily and long-term supply cover for our schools, in addition to our specialist intervention packages which help improve attainment, attendance and self-esteem for vulnerable students. If you have experience working either in education or in residential care settings, the East Midlands SEN Branch would love to find a suitable placement for you! We can offer a mixture of placements to suit all: long-term, permanent roles, short-term supply and 1:1 tuition. With flexible working patterns you choose when and where to work!

Registered Teachers and Learning Support Staff have access to Teaching Personnel’s CPD Academy Portal.  This portal helps support your professional development through a range of CPD events, free resources and more.

We are always looking to register more qualified teachers, teaching assistants and specialist support staff for the variety of jobs we have available in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.  If you’re not already registered, please register or contact us if you would like more information.
