We're recruiting a Youth Support Worker to join a welcoming primary school in Ammanford, starting this September.
Monday – Friday
⏰ 8:30am – 3:30pm
£92.63 per day
About the Role
You'll be supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them feel safe, understood and ready to learn. Every day is different, but your patience, encouragement and ability to build positive relationships will have a lasting impact on the lives of young people.

What Could a Typical Day Look Like?
No two days are ever the same, but your day could include:
Welcoming pupils into school and helping them settle into the day
Supporting children to regulate their emotions and feel ready to learn
Working alongside the class teacher to provide one-to-one or small group support
Getting involved in creative, practical and outdoor learning activities
⚽ Encouraging positive play and social interaction during break and lunchtime
Helping pupils develop confidence, communication and emotional resilience
Celebrating achievements and supporting children through any challenges they face
Ending the day knowing you've made a real difference in a child's life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
