Teaching Personnel are currently seeking applicants for a role that will support individuals who have complex needs. The role will be based at one of our client SEN Provisions based in the heart of Cwmbran. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and empathetic, while also possessing the skills to effectively support individuals with a variety of needs. This role will require patience, flexibility, and the ability to work as a member of a team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with individuals with complex needs
- Provide emotional support and encouragement for pupils
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care
- Support individuals in managing their physical and mental health needs
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with complex needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required
- Certificate or diploma in a relevant field such as Support Work, Human Services, Psychology, or Education is strongly preferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
