Year 6 Teacher – Full Time | LE3 Area | Paid to Scale
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the LE3 area. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible and confirmed until October half term, with the potential for further opportunities for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils during this important stage of their primary education.
The Role
- Full-time Year 6 class teacher position
- Planning, preparation and marking responsibilities included
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school and support them in achieving their full potential
- Work collaboratively with a friendly and supportive staff team
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with Year 6 experience desirable
- Has a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment requirements
- Is committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Is reliable, adaptable and passionate about making a difference to children's learning
