Year 6 Teacher – Full Time

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Leicester from the start of the new academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner who has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and a proven track record of preparing pupils for SATs and supporting them through the transition to secondary education.

The successful candidate will:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Possess recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment requirements
• Have excellent behaviour management skills
• Be able to create an engaging, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
• Show a commitment to raising attainment and helping every child achieve their full potential
• Work effectively as part of a supportive school team
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
