Year 6 Teacher – Full Time
Location: Leicester
Start Date: August 2026 / New Academic Year
Contract: Full Time, Long-Term/Permanent Opportunity
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Leicester from the start of the new academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner who has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and a proven track record of preparing pupils for SATs and supporting them through the transition to secondary education.
The successful candidate will:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Possess recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment requirements
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be able to create an engaging, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
- Show a commitment to raising attainment and helping every child achieve their full potential
- Work effectively as part of a supportive school team
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
