Primary schools in central Birmingham are in need of dedicated and enthusiastic primary teachers to join their team as Year 6 teachers. Teaching Personnel, in collaboration with the primary school, is seeking top-quality teachers who are committed, enthusiastic, and ready for a new opportunity. It is crucial that candidates possess relevant teaching experience and strong classroom management skills, specifically in Year 6.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons, as well as mark and assess KS2 students.
- Monitor, record, and report on students' attainment, development, and progress.
- Manage behaviour in the classroom.
- Prepare students for SATs.
- Demonstrate a proactive and hands-on approach.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Is confident in planning, marking, managing the classroom, and delivering interactive and engaging content in line with the curriculum.
- Has a genuine interest in education and child development.
- Possesses a professional and dedicated attitude, both inside and outside of the classroom.
- Has a clear and confident understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Has relevant teaching experience in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
